The Bosch CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-EM-NN-FW is a basic control section. It is one of the two main components of IndraDrive controllers. The other main component is a power section on which the control section mounts. As a standard, the drive controller is supplied as a completely assembled device. However the power section and control section can be ordered separately. In such cases the firmware also has to be ordered separately. If ordered separately, the control section needs to be plugged into the power section. This exercise has to be performed by personnel that have received the necessary training from Bosch Rexroth. Furthermore, to prevent hardware damage, the mounting and dismounting of the device is limited to a maximum number of 20 times. The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-EM-NN-FW is suited to single-axis control applications. Safety option installed on the unit is safe motion.

The plug-in modules installed on the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-EM-NN-FW include multi-encoder interface and encoder emulation. The built-in communication interface is Multi-Ethernet. The advanced control panel is not compatible with the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-EM-NN-FW. The power consumption of the device is 17 Watts.
