Product Description:

Bosch Rexroth never fails to impress its customers when it comes to the practical implementations of motion control and automation technology. The latest communication hardware developed by Rexroth has protocol capabilities that outshine those of the past and enables the new IndraDrive Cs to respond to modern day demands of openness and consistency in factory production. Significant tweaks and components such as SERCOS III, PROFINET 10 and Ethernet have been added to these drive controllers to ensure high levels of capital-intensive efficiency. These interfaces are strategically connected to the communication hardware, allowing it to control all factory machines in the most desired way.

The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW is a CSB Drive Controller with two lines and a single design type. The compact IndraDrive technology by Bosch Rexroth in each of these drive controllers is meant to add functionality and save costs for factory owners who operate in smaller spaces. With the strategic design that can fit easily into tight corners, the IndraDrive Cs provides greater levels of flexibility to control the machine footprint.

The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW drive controller comes with a drive-based PLC that integrates motion and logic, controlling the entire function of each piece of machinery. Additionally, it has a Safe Motion security option that is capable of drive-based machine safety alongside an option 1 and option 2 IndraDyn Encoder. Fitted with the standard communication methods of SERCOS III, PROFINET, EtherNet and EtherCat allow factory owners to use a practical approach in all of their industrial production. Being one of the simpler models in this range, the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-NN-NN-FW is not equipped with a control panel. However, the ease of use and functionality remains high-quality and unmatched. This product can be purchased from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.

Fault Code What It Means Likely Root Cause Recommended First Steps
F8025 Over-voltage in power section Regeneration energy can’t dissipate; DC-bus too high (e.g., braking resistor open, mains over-voltage). Check line voltage, braking resistor wiring/size, DC-bus clamps; verify regen parameters and decel ramps.
F8028 Over-current in power section Shorted motor-phase or jammed load causes peak current beyond drive rating. Inspect motor cabling for shorts, mechanical binding, accel/torque limits; re-enable after cause removed.
F8064 Interruption of motor phase Open phase or broken conductor in motor cable. Power down; ohm-check U-V-W conductors & shields, connector seating; replace cable if continuity fails.
F8057 Device overload shutdown Continuous rms current exceeds drive thermal model. Reduce cycle duty, verify cooling airflow/ambient, compare motor sizing to load; allow drive to cool.
F8070 +24 V DC error External 24 V supply absent or drops below spec. Measure control-supply rail, inspect fuses/PSU, tighten terminals; restore stable 24 V.
F8069 ±15 V DC error Internal aux supply on control board out of tolerance. Cycle power; if recurring, replace control section or send for repair (power-supply daughterboard fault).
F8023 Mechanical link encoder/motor incorrect Loose encoder coupling or wrong motor data set. Re-seat motor/encoder connector, check keyway/coupling, reload correct motor nameplate parameters.
F8022 Encoder 1 signals incorrect Sine/cos signals out of window or noise on lines. Inspect shield/drain, measure sin/cos amplitudes, re-route away from power; replace encoder if damaged.
F8091 Power section defective Drive detects internal hardware fault in IGBT or DC-link. Replace power section module; if fault repeats on new hardware, verify mains supply & grounding.
F9001 Internal function-call error Firmware execution trap/watchdog event. Cycle 24 V; if fault returns, flash latest firmware or exchange control section.
