The Bosch Rexroth's drive controllers are vital components of the IndraDrive drive system.  They play the role of monitoring and regulating the operations of motors in various machines. The CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-ENS-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section suited for double-axis operations. It has a current control cycle time of 125 µs. Also, it features four combined I/Os, which can be configured to function as a digital input or output. For communication, it uses a SERCOS III interface which is compatible with the RKB0011 and RKB0013 cables.  Also, this interface has eight connection pins built to transmit distinct signals. This control unit has a standard encoder interface that presents a D-sub design and magnetic poles. This interface permits the evaluation of encoder systems with a supply voltage of 12 V.

The switching frequencies available in this device are 2 kHz, 4 kHz, and 8 kHz. With the use of a protective diode, the CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-ENS-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is protected against damage from wrong electrical connection and polarity reversal of the supply voltage.
