The BTM16 Machine Operator Panels from Bosch Rexroth Indramat are modular machine user terminals designed as an alternative to the BTM15 and BTV06 for front-of-machine operator control.
The series uses a semi-fixed module arrangement built around two keyboard modules, one feed-override module, and one spindle-override module, with a fifth position that can be configured as a blind plate, emergency-stop module, or handwheel module. The handwheel electronics are integrated into the unit, which allows a mounted handwheel configuration or connection of an external handwheel solution. For control integration, the BTM16 uses an INTERBUS remote bus connection and provides 16 additional inputs plus 16 additional outputs for external machine signals. The unit is built for industrial panel use with an IP65 front panel, IP20 housing, approximate dimensions of 407 x 169 x 100 mm, RAL 7035 light gray finish, and an operating temperature range of +5 °C to +45 °C.
