The Bosch 1MS105N-4B-A1 is a stator for 1MB series motors. Salient features of 1MB motors include rated torques of up to 875 Nm, maximum speeds of up to 20,000 RPM, excellent running smoothness, large spindle cutoff and easy machine integration. 1MB motors are maintenance-free asynchronous motors with high power density. Typical applications of 1MB motors include main spindles of CNC machines and machining centers. The 1MS105N-4B-A1 is used with motors that have frame size of 105 and frame length of N: these motors are rated for nominal 4500 RPM, and 15000 RPM maximum speed, 15 Nm rated torque, 7 kilowatts rated power and 29 Amps rated current. Every 1MB motor is comprised of a stator and rotor and is provided as a completely assembled unit. 1MB motors are liquid cooled and include an aluminum jacket as part of the stator design.

The electrical connection to the 1MS105N-4B-A1 is through a 1.5-meter long cable that connects to the stator side with larger output diameter. Shipping weight of the 1MS105N-4B-A1 is approximately 11.2 kilograms. The stator can only be connected to the machine on one of the stator front sides. All screwed connections have to be provided with a liquid screw lock. The screw length required for fastening the 1MS105N-4B-A1 is dependent on the construction of the machines.
