Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of dependable servo motors around the world. These machines are being used to automate and administer the complex tasks in printing, paper processing, mechanical tools manufacturing, metal cutting, handling and packaging industries. Rexroth has produced many series and models of servo motors to cater to the specific needs of different industries.
The MKD071B-035-KG1-KN is Rexroth’s synchronous servomotor that is a fine balance between reliability and performance. This variant of the MKD series comes with a holding brake. The brake only works when the servo motor is in a de-energized state as otherwise it may harm the machine. This brake has a recorded torque of 5 Nm and it acts under the influence of magnetic force which activates the armature disk and holds the servo axis to stop its motion. To make the brake release the axis 24 Volt DC is required to counter the magnetic force and the servo motor starts working again.
MKD071B-035-KG1-KN has an efficient and accurate encoder which keeps supplying the feedback to the system for optimum performance. It’s encoder uses the “Resolver Feedback '' criteria which makes it capable of measuring the rotations as well as position of the shaft to a high degree of precision. The cooling mechanism for MKD071B-035-KG1-KN can house an external fan to help the motor to dissipate heat by continuously blowing air towards its surface. The MKD AC synchronous servo motors that are variants of model MKD071B are found to produce higher torque values for the same number of rotations per minute when they are supported by a blower unit to regulate the temperatures; as compared to the servos that only rely upon natural convection.
