Product Description
If we talk about motors and drive controllers, the market is full of so many options that it becomes difficult for someone to choose the right product. In fact, the number of reliable brands that manufacture flawless servo motors can be counted on fingers. Bosch Rexroth is one of these brands who enjoys the trust of their customers and has products being used by multiple production units.
MKD071B-035-KP0-KN is a model of MKD AC synchronous servomotors manufactured and marketed by Rexroth. It has a shaft with standard key and it is also equipped with a shaft sealing ring. It does not have a holding brake. The feedback mechanism is governed by an integrated multi turn absolute encoder and the power connections are provided through a junction box that faces to the other side of the servo motor that houses the shaft. Theoretically this servo motor is capable of producing a maximum torque of 32 Nm. It has four pole pairs and its winding has inductance value of 23 and the resistance of 4.57 Ohm at 20 degrees Celsius. The varnish used on the motor to protect it from rust and moisture is prime coat black in accordance with the standard RAL 9005. It is very important to mount and connect the power and encoder cables as suggested in the technical sheet to avoid any trouble.
The MKD071B-035-KP0-KN servo motor is available in two major types depending on the marked over temperature values. The difference in over temperature thresholds changes the characteristic values of the parameters to some extent. The 60 K version has an insulated structure and the 100 K version has a non-insulated structure so it is advised to choose the model that best fits your needs.
