Product Description

The EEA-PAM-533-D-32 is a D series EEA-PAM power amplifier from Eaton for use with its valves in the hydraulic industry. The Vickers brand card is integrated with a built-in test feature and two PID modules. The only difference between the A-series and D-series of power amplifiers from the manufacturer is that the latter does not incorporate the gain feature. The PID controller output is located towards the bottom of the front panel of the amplifier. The unit is lightweight and weighs only 0.4kg. The feed-forward can be adjusted by a potentiometer to range anywhere between 20% and 100%.

The power amplifier has an alarm feature that can be enabled on one of the various pins of the unit after more than 500ms of switching on the power supply. The alarm can be reset on the same pin after a failed operation. The drive signal zero indicator has 50 Ohms output resistance. There are two potentiometers for adjusting the deadband compensation. The amplifier is CE Certified. It is a good choice for pressure control applications in servo-performance proportional valves. LVDT failure is indicated by an LED that gets illuminated in red. We can ship the integrated general-purpose power amplifier across the world through our large team of trusted delivery partners.

The power amplifier highlights the enabling of a drive solenoid with a yellow-colored LED. The amplifier has separate monitor points for the feedback signal, the conditioned command signal, the integrator output, and the command signal. The analog input current ranges between -20mA and +20mA. The device can be used to work for several closed-loop pressure control applications using the KF*G4V-3 servo-performance proportional valves from the manufacturer for a wide range of applications. The Eurocard style unit is available along with a one-year warranty period.
