Product Description:

The EEA-PAM-541-D-32 is manufactured by Vickers as a power amplifier that belongs to the EEA-PAM family of products with built-in closed-loop control. It applies to proportional directional valves featuring LVDT feedback. The amplifier features internal PID control having variable P, I and D gain settings. It has a signal input voltage of ±10 V and an input current of ±20 mA with an impedance of 47 kΩ and 100 Ω respectively.

The EEA-PAM-541-D-32 amplifier features an analog output signal of 10 V with short-circuit protection and at least 10 k load impedance. It takes 24V logic signals to enable the drive, ramps, integrator and PID controller. Digital outputs provide signals of alarm, sensor failure and feedback deviation. The EEA-PAM amplifier has internal ramp generators that are variable between 50 ms and 5 seconds. A test potentiometer can be used to override the signal manually to perform set up checks and its mode switch allows the selection of either test loop, test valve or auto mode. The front panel LED indicates drive signal zero, 24V power, 15V control voltage, solenoid output, PID enabled and LVDT failure. The amplifier has 6 monitor points from MP1 to MP6. MP1 shows the command signal and MP2 indicates LVDT feedback. MP3 is applied to command input monitoring and MP4 to for feedback signal. MP5 and MP6 displays PID output and integrator response.

The EEA-PAM-541-D-32 amplifier’s all monitor points are on standard 2 mm sockets and installation of the amplifier is done using a DIN 41612 F48 male connector. The unit is 24V DC operated and it provides internal ±15V control power. The EEA-PAM amplifier is in accordance with EMC directive 2014/30/EU and its weight is about 0.4 kg.
