Product Description:
The T730-012EL8 is a brushless AC servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki as part of the T SANMOTION Servo Motors series. It is intended for precision positioning and speed control in machine tools, pick-and-place equipment, and general factory automation. The unit converts controlled electrical power from a compatible servo drive into regulated mechanical motion for accurate movement under changing loads.
The motor produces a rated output of 0.3 kW at a nominal speed of 2500 rpm, providing moderate power in a compact frame. The shaft can sustain a continuous stall torque of 1.05 N·m, while acceleration loads can briefly reach a peak stall torque of 2.45 N·m without demagnetizing the rotor. Winding excitation is supplied by a nominal 75 V armature input, allowing the motor to pair with compact low-voltage inverters. Power and feedback signals leave the housing through a lead-wire connection, and the attached cable is 1000 mm long for connection to nearby terminal strips. Position information is generated by an incremental encoder, while the keyed output shaft provides positive engagement with a compatible coupling.
The housing has an IP43 protection rating, guarding internal components against objects larger than 1 mm and water spray at angles up to 60 degrees from vertical. A flange diameter of φ76 mm establishes the mounting interface, and a rotor inertia of 2.708 ×10⁻⁴ kg·m² supports responsive acceleration with stable closed-loop control. The encoder provides a resolution of 1000 P/R, allowing the drive to detect small changes in shaft position. The motor weighs 2.75 kg, which limits the additional load placed on moving-axis assemblies. No oil seal is fitted, so the shaft area should remain protected from splash coolant and other liquids. The motor does not use a tachometer generator because the servo drive derives speed feedback from the encoder signal.
