Product Description:
The T506T-012 is a DC servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki for the T SANMOTION Servo Motors series. The frame, wiring scheme, and tachometer generator are combined to provide an integrated motion element that installs easily on compact axes. By translating armature current into proportional torque, the unit supports closed-loop positioning and repeatable speed control in pick-and-place heads, inspection turntables, and lightweight conveyor stations.
It supplies a continuous stall torque of 0.24 N·m, so the shaft can hold static loads without exceeding thermal limits. When powered by a drive that delivers 75 V to the armature, the motor produces 0.06 kW of mechanical power while sustaining a rated speed of 3000 rpm. These operating values support use with high-speed belt stages and fine-pitch ball screws. The circular housing attaches to machinery through a mounting flange with a 51 mm diameter. The flange aligns with gearboxes commonly used in miniature automation modules. Electrical connections are made with lead wires instead of a connector, simplifying integration into custom harnesses.
For rapid indexing moves, the motor can tolerate a peak stall torque of 1.8 N·m, giving the drive a wide dynamic range before saturation occurs. The enclosure has an IP43 rating, providing protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm and water spray from limited angles. The total assembly mass is 0.91 kg, and the rotor has a mechanical inertia of 0.22 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m², helping reduce cycle times on short-stroke axes. A built-in tachometer generator shortens the feedback loop and contributes an additional inertia of 0.12 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m². Power and feedback conductors exit the casing through a single cable measuring 1000 mm long. A D-shaped output shaft facilitates coupling alignment, while the absence of an oil seal makes the motor suitable for dry process environments.
