Product Description:
The T402T-011 is a DC servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki within the T SANMOTION Servo Motors series. This compact unit is intended for positioning tasks in automated machinery where low-voltage drives control light mechanical loads. By translating armature current into rotary motion, the motor supports precise velocity control in pick-and-place heads, miniature actuators, and semiconductor-handling stages. Its compact design also makes it suitable for equipment with limited installation space and low moving mass.
The motor has a rated armature voltage of 20 V, allowing it to operate with small servo amplifiers commonly used in 24 V control panels. Under that supply, the shaft turns at 3000 rpm while delivering 23 W of mechanical power. During continuous duty, the motor can sustain a stall torque of 0.08 N·m without overheating, while transient loading can reach 0.42 N·m for rapid acceleration. Lead wires carry the armature and sensor signals instead of using a separate connector, simplifying direct routing through compact machinery. The motor is supplied without an oil seal, which reduces shaft friction and makes the unit suitable for clean operating areas where additional sealing is unnecessary.
A square flange measuring 41 mm on each side allows direct mounting to compact gearheads and machine plates. The D-shaped output shaft simplifies coupling because it does not require a separate key. Rotor inertia is 4.7 × 10⁻⁶ kg·m², allowing quick velocity changes with minimal servo lag, while the separate tachometer rotor adds 1.1 × 10⁻⁶ kg·m². The motor has a mass of 0.39 kg, permitting installation on lightweight moving axes without adding excessive load. The enclosure is rated IP43, providing protection against the entry of tools and sprayed water when the 1000 mm lead wires are routed through a sealed harness. The built-in tachometer produces an analog voltage proportional to shaft speed, allowing the connected drive to maintain closed-loop velocity control.
