Product Description:
Sanyo Denki’s PDC-1303 is a robust digital controller engineered, manufactured, and commercialized under the SANDIC series. Digital controllers under the SANDIC series are known for their high performance and dynamic range. In servo systems and applications, digital controllers interpret signals and manage control loops for maximizing the performance of multiple devices. Particularly, the PDC-1303 is compatible with Sanyo Denki’s other servo motors, amplifiers, and encoders. The PDC-1303, specifically, is a multi-axis digital controller that offers several ports for motors, I/O, and serial devices. With the AX1, AX2, and AX3 control ports, this device can handle three servo or stepper motors simultaneously at different axes.
The PDC-1303 also includes multiple serial input and output ports for establishing serial communication protocols. In industrial and automation systems, the most common types of serial communication protocols are RS232 and RS485. Aside from the serial communication and axis control ports offered by the PDC-1303, a set of I/O ports allows the device to control or interpret both analog and digital devices. Optionally, the PDC-1303 can also support an external PLC for the most precise and demanding applications or systems. To update the unit’s firmware, the programming port must be used. The PRG port may also be used for controller programming or interfacing with other programmable devices. The PDC-1303 comes with a set of battery inputs, which allow the device to run continuously in case of high input power fluctuations. Two LED indicators provide the user timely feedback on the status of the digital controller. This product is available with a 1-year warranty when purchased from Wake Industrial.
