Product Description:
The R2AA13200LCP2T-B servo motor is produced by Sanyo Denki and belongs to the R SANMOTION Servo Motors series. As a medium-inertia AC unit, it provides closed-loop axis control in packaging machines, pick-and-place gantries, and similar industrial equipment. Its feedback system allows the drive controller to monitor rotor movement and correct position, speed, or torque during operation. The motor is suitable for applications that require controlled acceleration and repeatable positioning under changing loads.
The electromagnetic section is designed to operate from a 200 V DC bus supplied by the drive. At this voltage, the shaft can deliver a continuous mechanical output of 2.0 kW while turning at a nominal speed of 2,000 rpm. At this operating point, the motor produces 9.5 N·m of torque and draws 11.0 A rms from each phase. A phase resistance of 0.22 Ω helps limit electrical losses during constant-torque operation. The integrated holding brake provides 12.0 N·m of static holding torque to secure a stationary load when motor power is removed. It releases electrically within 100 ms and operates from a 24 VDC control supply. The rotor design balances acceleration response with stable operation during repeated start-stop cycles.
When higher acceleration is required, the windings can accept up to 26.5 A rms for short periods, producing a peak torque of 24.0 N·m and allowing momentary speeds of up to 3,000 rpm. Position feedback comes from a battery-backed absolute encoder with a resolution of 131,072 counts per revolution and multi-turn tracking across 65,536 revolutions. The retained absolute position can reduce the need for homing after a normal power interruption. The 130 mm square flange accommodates commonly used gearheads and provides a stable mounting surface for accurate drivetrain alignment. A planetary gear reducer can be fitted directly to the shaft when the application requires increased output torque or reduced load speed. The integrated brake supports vertical axes and other mechanisms that must remain stationary while drive power is unavailable.
