Product Description:
The R2AA13200LCP2T is a three-phase AC servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki within the R SANMOTION Servo Motors series. Designed for precise position and velocity control, it works with a matched drive to move tooling and conveyor axes according to CNC or PLC commands. A battery-backed absolute encoder sends real-time shaft position data to the controller. An integral 24 VDC holding brake maintains the load position when the system is de-energized, making the motor suitable for vertical axes and other applications that require load retention.
During continuous operation, the motor delivers a rated mechanical output of 2.0 kW at a shaft speed of 2000 rpm. Under these conditions, it supplies a rated torque of 9.5 N·m, providing the continuous twisting force needed to operate process equipment. When the axis is stationary, the motor can sustain a continuous stall torque of 12 N·m without overheating. It can also withstand short-term loads up to a peak stall torque of 24 N·m. Power, feedback, and brake conductors terminate at a Cannon plug, simplifying cable connections between the motor and associated equipment. The keyed output shaft transfers torque directly to compatible couplings or gearboxes without requiring a separate clamping interface.
The drive supplies the motor windings with a nominal voltage of 200 V, enabling acceleration to a maximum speed of 3000 rpm for indexing movements above the rated speed. A rotor inertia of 12.2 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m² balances responsiveness and stability for a medium-inertia design, supporting consistent servo gain adjustment. The sealed housing has a protection rating of IP65, which protects internal components against dust and low-pressure water jets. An oil seal at the shaft interface helps prevent lubricant migration into the motor. The 130 mm flange centers the frame against compatible gearboxes and supports accurate mechanical alignment. The motor can operate in ambient relative humidity of up to 90 percent when condensation is not present.
