The R2AA08050FCPJD is an AC servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki as a member of the R SANMOTION Servo Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion axes that require precise position and velocity control in assembly lines, pick-and-place stations, and packaging equipment. The motor converts electrical energy from a compatible servo drive into controlled mechanical rotation. Its compact housing supports installation in automated machinery where mounting space is limited and accurate motion is required.
The motor accepts 200 V three-phase power, matching common servo amplifiers in the SANMOTION drive family and avoiding the need for an external transformer in a 200 V control cabinet. Its mounting interface uses an 80 mm square flange, allowing the housing to connect directly to IEC and proprietary gearheads that use the same mounting pattern. The medium-inertia rotor stores enough kinetic energy to smooth load disturbances while supporting fast start-and-stop profiles. Position feedback is generated by a battery-backed absolute encoder, allowing the controller to read the multi-turn shaft position immediately after power is restored. This feedback arrangement eliminates the need to repeat a homing routine after a normal power interruption, provided that the encoder battery remains operational.
