Product Description:

QS1W05AM0XXXXC15 is a high-performance servo amplifier. It is designed by Sanyo Denki for rotary motor control applications. The amplifier is part of the Sanmotion Q produce line and the S series. Its output current is 50 Amps and the input voltage is 200 Volts AC. This series of amplifiers can be configured for speed, position or torque control applications. PC based software is available for amplifier configuration. This software is user-friendly and provides operators with a convenient method for configuring Q-series amplifiers from Sanyo. Control method used on the QS1W05AM0XXXXC15 amplifier is PWM control with sinusoidal drive. The main circuit on the amplifier requires three-phase input at 200 to 230 Volts AC. The control circuit on the amplifier requires single-phase input at 200 Volts. For optimal performance the ambient temperature range is 0 to 55 degrees Celsius.

Use of the amplifier outside this range will cause the output to derate. The amplifier dissipates heat via convection cooling. A heat sink is designed into the housing of the unit to improve heat dissipation. Modification and/or retrofitting of the amplifier is not permitted by the manufacturer. Warning labels are attached to the front of the unit to convey important safety-related information to operators. Sanyo does not permit use of the amplifier in explosive environments. Staff working on the unit must not touch its insides. No wiring or maintenance should be performed when the amplifier is hot-wired. Staff must wait for 5 minutes after power-off before working on the unit. Only qualified personnel should install the unit and maintain and service it. Protective ground terminal on the unit must be connected to earth at all times for equipment and personnel safety.
