The QS1L01LX is a compact servo amplifier produced by Sanyo Denki in the Q SANMOTION Servo Amplifiers series. Intended for multi-axis machine tools, pick-and-place stations, and other automated equipment, the unit conditions three-phase mains power, closes feedback loops, and delivers controlled current to a matched SANMOTION servo motor. By supporting position, speed, and torque control modes, it translates controller commands into accurate mechanical motion for a range of automated processes.
Electrical compatibility starts with a nominal supply of 200 VAC from industrial mains operating at 50/60 Hz ±3%. The amplifier sustains a speed control range of 1:5000, so a single motor can handle slow positioning and high-velocity moves without reconfiguration. The response bandwidth reaches 600 Hz when the load inertia equals the motor inertia (JL = JM), enabling close tracking of high-frequency command profiles. Incremental encoders are accepted through a two-phase pulse train at rates up to 1.25 Mpps. A built-in dynamic brake dissipates regenerated energy during deceleration, while dedicated monitor lines provide current and speed feedback for system analysis.
Motion controllers that output a sign-plus-pulse stream can drive the command input at up to 5 Mpps, retaining precise synchronization during rapid indexing. The current monitor delivers 2.0 V at 100% of rated output, allowing the amplifier’s current level to be observed with external measurement equipment. The speed monitor scales linearly at 2.0 V/1000 rpm, making speed-related waveform capture straightforward. The regeneration circuit is integrated into the chassis, and motor leakage current is limited to 0.5 mA. The amplifier tolerates shocks up to 5 G and includes built-in protective functions for operation in industrial machinery.
