Product Description:
The QR1A03AK011 is an economical servo amplifier, featuring a small yet robust configuration. Manufactured in Japan under the Sanmotion Q series, this drive from Sanyo Denki has a flat and modular design, allowing it to fit high-precision industrial automation systems. Like other servo drives by Sanyo Denki, this product is meant to control and monitor servo motors in real-time. It serves as an intermediate component between the servomotor and a main controller. As the motor driver, the QR1A03AK011 can interpret and amplify control signals and make necessary adjustments to the motor position, velocity, or torque, based on some criteria.
The QR1A03AK011 functions well at a nominal DC input of 280 V. At most a deviation of plus or minus 5 V from a common supply is acceptable. One unique feature of this servo amplifier is its address dial. Particularly, this servo amplifier can choose among 16 addresses through its rotary switch. To facilitate efficient heat dissipation during operation, the drive makes use of its large heat sink at the top. For servo drives and other electrical modules in general, heatsinks can efficiently dissipate heat by providing a larger surface area to facilitate convection. Aside from the address dial and the heat sink, the QR1A03AK011 also has an intuitive set of status LEDs for displaying power, alarm, and status flags.
Like other Sanmotion Q drives, the QR1A03AK011 allocates a connector for the motor encoder, the motor output, and the controller. The controller port is where the host device or industrial PC is connected. The CNB connector receives the feedback signal from the motor, while the motor power cables are connected to the motor output port, also called the U, V, and W terminals.
