The Sanyo Denki QR1A01AK0 servo amplifier is designed to run on a standard 200V AC input voltage, which affects the internal circuitry’s electric fields. At this voltage level, the AC current enables energy transfer through the power stage of the amplifier, and capacitive and inductive loads are managed without reactive losses or harmonic distortion that can affect system performance. Any deviation from this 200V will cause voltage sags or transient voltages that stress the dielectric materials and shorten the life of the insulation. So this is not a requirement but an engineering restriction closely related to the electrical and physical tolerances of the amplifier’s components, such as input filters, gate drivers, and IGBT modules.
The amplifier produces 5000W of rated output power, which is a measure of the energy conversion efficiency and heat management built into the design.
