Product Description:
The Q1AA18750HXF24 is a permanent-magnet servo motor supplied by Sanyo Denki within the Q SANMOTION Servo Amplifiers series. Designed for embedded use alongside a matching amplifier, it delivers closed-loop shaft control for conveyors, gantry axes, and indexing mechanisms used in factory automation. By integrating feedback devices and environmental sealing, the motor provides repeatable torque delivery while withstanding coolant splash and airborne contaminants common on production lines.
The motor uses a fully enclosed, automatic cooling design that circulates internal air without exchanging it with outside air, so airborne particles cannot enter the housing. Electromagnetic energy is produced through a permanent-magnet excitation system, which eliminates field windings and reduces rotor inertia for faster acceleration. The insulation withstands a test potential of 1,500 VAC for 1 minute, providing adequate clearance for voltage spikes from the drive. An enclosure rating of IP67 provides complete protection against dust and allows temporary immersion in water. The stator uses flange mounting, which simplifies alignment with gearboxes or machine frames. A factory-installed AC2368E0 oil seal blocks lubricant migration along the shaft, and all housing joints are sealed against contaminant entry.
Dimensional accuracy is supported by an output-shaft total indicator reading of 0.02, minimizing runout when couplings or pulleys are clamped to the keyway. During installation, the wiring should be oriented so the rotor turns counterclockwise when viewed from the load side, matching the required rotation direction. The motor withstands mechanical impact up to 98 m/s² and continuous vibration loads of 24.5 m/s². It is assigned to vibration class V15, allowing it to remain stable on dynamic tooling heads. The motor is rated for continuous service, so its thermal capacity permits operation without scheduled cooldown intervals. Its enclosed cooling arrangement supports heat removal without drawing contaminated external air through the housing.
