Product Description:

Manufactured by the Japanese company Sanyo Denki, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 is a rapid-response servo amplifier that operates at a wide voltage and temperature range. During operation, this device requires a nominal DC voltage input of 280 volts. Like other type A PQ motors under Sanyo Denki’s Sanmotion P series, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 employs a dynamic brake function for dissipating excessive brake energy. Together with the servo amplifier, host device, and protection circuits, this PQM0A100EXXYST0 can precisely drive loads and components based on precise control signals. Aside from powering the servomotor during operation, it also provides protection features to avoid overtemperature and overloading.

The PQM0A100EXXYST0’s front panel contains a robust set of connection ports for establishing communication with the servomotor and other peripherals. In total, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 has nine connection ports, with CN2 being further subdivided into CN2A and CN2B. Aside from its various connection ports, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 also employs a single-digit display and two status LEDs for indicating charge status and power. Similar to Sanyo Denki’s advanced servo amplifiers, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 contains an adjustable knob for selecting device addresses. With its compact construction and intuitive front panel setup, this device can be operated even without an industrial PC connected.

Based on the product’s nameplate, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 can deliver a nominal output of 24 amperes. The maximum capacity of this module, however, can reach as high as 100 amperes. Assuming rated input supply, this amplifier unit can deliver a three-phase PWM signal ranging from 0 to 326 volts. Similar to the other amplifiers by Sanyo Denki, the PQM0A100EXXYST0 contains four terminals alongside the connection ports, where the servomotor power cables are connected. Wake Industrial offers a generous one-year warranty for this product upon purchase.
