Product Description:

The PMM-BA-5604-1 Stepping Driver is designed to drive stepper motors and offers robust protection and efficient operation for demanding applications. This driver is well suited for environments with varying conditions.

The PMM-BA-5604-1 stepping driver operates with a single phase AC input source ranging from 100 V to 115 V ± 10 % with a frequency of 50/60 Hz. It can handle up to 8 A of source current. This device functions efficiently in an operating ambient temperature range of 0 °C to + 50 °C and supports a wide operating humidity range from 35 % to 85 % RH (no condensation) with a conservation humidity range of 10 % to 90 %. This driver is designed to withstand vibration with a testing frequency range of 10 to 55 Hz and can operate within an impact resistance standard for various industrial conditions. This driver’s protection functions include measures against PM driver overheating. In terms of input and output signals, this PMM PentaSYN Servo Drive features command pulse input and power down input signals with photo cooperative input systems. The input resistance for these signals is 330 Ω with signal voltage levels ranging from 0 to 5.5 V. The maximum input frequency for these signals is 100 kPulses/s.

The Sanyo Denki PMM-BA-5604-1 stepping driver also includes an LED indicator that monitors the power supply, phase origin, pulse and alarm states. It features an alarm output signal with a relay contact output that can handle a maximum of 1 A at DC 24 V or 0.5 A at AC 120 V. This driver is built with high insulation resistance and is tested to handle AC 1500 V applications for up to one minute without abnormality.
