Product Description:
The PMM-BA-5602 Stepping Driver ensures stable operation with automatic current reduction and low vibration. This driver supports multiple monitoring functions and offers reliable protection against driver overheating. It is ideal for industrial and automation applications.
The PMM-BA-5602 stepping driver features a photocoupler input system with 330 Ω input resistance. The maximum input frequency of this driver is 100 kpulses per second. The signals from power down input also use the same photocoupler system and voltage levels. The LED indicators display the power supply status, phase origin, pulse monitor and alarm status. Protection functions are in place to prevent PM driver overheating. The driver offers a relay contact alarm output with a normal open configuration. The contact capacity is rated at a maximum of 1 A at DC 24 V or 0.5 A at AC 120 V. The power input source is single phase AC 100/115 V with a tolerance of + 10 % and – 15 % operating at 50/60 Hz. The source current of the stepping driver is rated at 4 A. Withstand voltage of the model is specified at AC 1500 V for one minute without abnormalities between the power input terminal and the cabinet. The insulation resistance of the stepper motor driver must be no less than 10 MΩ when tested using a DC 500 V megohmmeter (Megger). This measurement should be conducted by applying the test voltage between the power input terminals (typically L and N or DC supply lines) and the chassis.
This Sanyo Denki PMM-BA-5602 stepping driver incorporates multiple selection functions including excitation mode selection, operation current adjustment and low vibration mode. These features help optimize motor control efficiency. The device is equipped with advanced monitoring functions using LEDs for real time status feedback.
