Product Description
The PMM-BA-4804-1 is a compact servo driver built by Sanyo Denki for the handling and control of micro stepper motors also built by the same manufacturer. The controller has a solid black housing with a high degree of resistance against corrosive substances such as dilute acids, dilute alkali and mineral oil. The handling of this converter is relatively simple and straightforward; however, it requires integration into a switchgear cabinet, which can provide protection that meets at least the IP54 protection standards. The driver is a three-phase device that operates with an input voltage that falls between 100 to about 115 volts; the voltage should also be delivered at a frequency of between 50 to 60hertz. The source current required by this product is determined to be about 8 amperes, while the rated current is 2 amperes per phase, although this is adjustable to 1 ampere per phase.
The PMM-BA-4804-1 servo driver contains several LED displays that customers can use to monitor the power status, phase origin, pulse and errors during the operation of the drive. The efficient operation of this driver depends on its ability to efficiently send and receive input and output signals. The input signals received by this product include the CW pulse, CCW pulse, and power down signal. These input signals control several aspects of the driver.
The PMM-BA-4804-1 has a total weight of about 4 kilograms; it also features a protection function against PM driver overheating. Operating ambient temperature around this product should be maintained between 0 to 50 degrees Celsius; also, relative humidity should not be allowed to exceed 85 per cent. The permissible vibration level allowed in all axes for this product is about 4.9 meters per second.
