Product Description:
The P30B06020DXS50 is a brushless servo motor built by Sanyo Denki for the P3 Super BL Servo Motors series. As a compact actuator, it delivers closed-loop rotary motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place heads, or indexing conveyors in automated lines. Its wire-saving incremental encoder sends shaft-position data to the drive without requiring separate sensor cabling, simplifying installation. Because the unit is not equipped with a holding brake, an external lock or motor torque must secure loads during a power loss. Pairing the motor with a 200 V class amplifier provides precise speed and torque control within a 60-millimeter frame.
The motor operates with a supply class of 200 V AC, making it compatible with common servo inverters. With a compatible amplifier, the shaft delivers 200 W while turning at a rated speed of 3,000 rpm. It produces a continuous torque of 0.637 N·m through the interaction between the stator windings and permanent-magnet rotor. Position feedback is resolved to 2,000 pulses per revolution by the built-in encoder, allowing the drive to command increments of 0.18 degrees. Current response follows an electrical time constant of 3.8 ms, which helps the amplifier track reference changes with minimal phase lag.
During acceleration, the shaft can withstand a maximum stall torque of 1.96 N·m without losing synchronization, providing additional capacity for rapid indexing moves. The mounting face uses a square 60 mm flange pattern that is compatible with IEC motor brackets. No oil seal is installed, so back-to-back installation with a gear reducer requires an external seal on the gearbox. The winding resistance is 1.5 Ω, and the steady-state current is 2.2 Arms. These electrical values allow the drive to estimate copper losses for thermal protection during continuous operation.
