The P30B04003DXS00 is a brushless servo motor from Sanyo Denki in the P3 Super BL Servo Motors series. Its standard 40 mm-class frame and low-inertia rotor make it suitable for precise actuation on miniature pick-and-place slides, electronic assembly platforms, and other compact automation stations. High torque density and incremental encoder feedback support closed-loop speed and position control for axes that require repeatable movement without excessive overshoot. The compact housing also allows the motor to fit into machinery where installation space and moving mass are limited.
At nominal load, the motor develops 30 W of mechanical power while rotating at a rated speed of 3000 rpm and producing 0.098 N·m of continuous torque. This output is achieved with a rated armature current of 0.54 Arms, while a torque constant of 0.20 N·m/Arms allows the controller to calculate current commands directly from torque demands. The three-phase stator winding has a phase resistance of 12.5 Ω, and the electromagnetic circuit reaches its desired flux with an electrical time constant of 1.2 ms. The maximum operating speed reaches 4500 rpm, extending the usable velocity range above the rated operating point for brief overload periods. The motor weighs 0.3 kg, so it adds little mass to moving axes and supports rapid acceleration on lightweight carriages. The motor does not include a holding brake. Applications that require power-off position retention must use external clamping, a separate brake, or another suitable holding mechanism.
