Product Description:
The GAM2A6010F0XRK2 is an AC servo motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki within the G SANMOTION AC Servo Motors series. It is intended for light-duty axes in semiconductor tooling, assembly robots, and test fixtures where compact size and fast response are required. A matched drive supplies sinusoidal current to the motor’s three-phase windings to control rotor position precisely. Real-time feedback from the integrated absolute encoder closes the motion loop and allows the drive to correct positional deviations during operation.
The motor has a rated mechanical output of 100 W. At its nominal shaft speed of 3000 rpm, it delivers a rated torque of 0.318 N·m, allowing the drive to maintain speed under a steady process load. The stator draws a rated phase current of 1.02 Arms at this operating point. Its torque constant of 0.395 N·m/Arms provides a direct relationship between phase current and generated torque, supporting accurate current-loop control. Phase resistance is 5.3 Ω, which affects copper loss and winding temperature during continuous operation. The model is supplied without an oil seal, so the installation must protect the shaft area from lubricants and other external contaminants.
The motor provides a continuous stall torque of 0.353 N·m and a peak stall torque of 1.13 N·m. These values indicate the available holding and acceleration torque at zero speed within the applicable thermal limits. Position feedback is supplied by a 23-bit batteryless absolute encoder, which reports 8,388,608 distinct positions per mechanical revolution without requiring a backup battery. The rotor inertia is 0.143 × 10-4 kg·m², helping the axis accelerate, decelerate, and reverse direction quickly. An 8 mm keyway shaft provides positive engagement with compatible couplings or pulleys and helps prevent slippage during torque transmission.
