The Sanyo GAM2A6010F0XNK2 is a reliable servo motor. In operation, you should never use your hands to contact the inside of servo amplifiers. During operation, you should never touch the component of the servo motor that is turning. Perform a test on a servo motor while positioning the motor in a fixed place and isolating it from the machine systems. Only after the test has been completed should the motor be installed into the machine system.

While electricity is being provided, you should never touch any of the terminals or connections. Those who fail to follow through with this may be subjected to a shocked current of electricity. You should avoid introducing a magnetic field to the encoder cover of the servo motor. This is because the encoder cover is made of metallic materials. Magnets, such as magnet supports, shall not be mounted to the encoder cover. This restriction is applicable to the encoder cover. Additionally, it is possible for the servo motor, the regenerative resistor, the external dynamic brake resistor, and the heat sink of the servo amplifier to get hot while the power is on and for a length of time after the power has been switched off. If you want to protect them from being handled by mistake, you should take the required precautions, such as covering them.

When it is not possible to take safety precautions, affix a warning label that warns of excessive temperatures. If you do not follow instructions, you may end up with burns. Excessive heat can make the motor lose its temper, and in worst possible situations, the internal circuits and other components may be damaged.
