Product Description:
The GAM2A4015V0XNK2 is a brushless AC servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki as part of the G SANMOTION AC Servo Motors series. This compact unit is intended for automation axes that require precise velocity and torque regulation. Coupled with a matching amplifier, it converts electrical command signals into controlled rotary motion for pick-and-place arms, labeling stations, miniature conveyors, and other small machines. Integrated encoder feedback supplies high-resolution position data to the controller, supporting accurate closed-loop operation during high-cycle motion.
The motor delivers a continuous mechanical output of 150 W at a rated shaft speed of 3000 rpm. At this operating point, the rotor produces 0.48 N·m of torque while drawing 1.20 A RMS from the drive. A torque constant of 0.441 N·m/A RMS allows the servo regulator to translate current commands into predictable torque. The phase resistance is 8.0 Ω, which affects copper losses and the voltage needed to produce the commanded current. The unit is compatible with single-axis amplifiers that supply 10 A and two-axis modules rated for 20 A per channel, allowing the drive arrangement to match the number of controlled axes. Position feedback is provided by a 23-bit single-turn absolute encoder, which reports the shaft position immediately after startup without requiring a homing cycle. Its 40 mm square flange provides a rigid mounting interface for space-constrained equipment.
The motor can accommodate sudden load changes with a peak torque of 1.7 N·m, supported by a peak current of 4.3 A RMS. For rapid indexing moves or spindle applications, it can reach a maximum speed of 6500 rpm while maintaining encoder-based position feedback. The enclosure has an IP67 rating, which protects the housing against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water under the applicable test conditions. Sealed housing and connector interfaces support installation in machinery where coolant, spray, or frequent cleaning may expose the motor to moisture.
