The GAM2A4015V0CRK3 is a compact AC servo motor engineered by Sanyo Denki for the G SANMOTION AC Servo Motors series. Designed for positioning and speed-control duties in semiconductor handlers, small pick-and-place heads, and laboratory automation, the unit connects to machinery through a 40 mm square flange while maintaining precise dynamic performance. An integrated batteryless absolute encoder provides closed-loop feedback, allowing the controller to retain the shaft position through a power cycle without relying on an encoder battery.
The motor provides a continuous mechanical output of 0.15 kW and a rated torque of 0.48 N·m at a rated speed of 3000 rpm. Compatible drive inverters must provide 200 VAC three-phase power to operate the motor. For rapid indexing movements, the electromagnetic circuit can produce a peak stall torque of 1.7 N·m, providing additional torque during acceleration or when overcoming static friction in connected gear trains. The oil-immersed stator windings transfer heat through the housing, allowing continuous operation within the rated ambient temperature range. This passive heat transfer also removes the need for a separate motor-mounted cooling fan.
The feedback device has a resolution of 23 bits, supporting precise position measurement and tightly regulated motion. The enclosure is sealed to IP67, preventing fine dust and temporary water immersion from reaching protected internal components under the applicable test conditions. The square mounting face measures 40 mm on each side, while the body has an overall length of 118 mm for installation in compact multi-axis assemblies. A rotor inertia of 0.0946 × 10-4 kg·m² supports rapid commanded speed changes with limited overshoot. A factory-installed oil seal helps retain lubricant and protects the internal bearing area from contaminants.
