Designed for positioning and speed-control axes in machine tools, pick-and-place stations, and other automated equipment, the unit converts electrical input into controlled mechanical rotation with rapid response and repeatable accuracy. Its 200 VAC class windings and integrated high-speed encoder pair with matching SANMOTION drives to close the servo loop and maintain commanded motion profiles under varying load conditions.
The motor operates from a three-phase supply of 200 VAC, and its windings have a phase resistance of 8.0 Ω, allowing the drive to predict copper losses and set current limits accurately. Under continuous load, the stator carries a rated armature current of 1.20 Arms to generate a nominal shaft speed of 3000 rpm. Transient demands such as acceleration are handled by a peak armature current of 4.3 Arms.
