Product Description:
The GAM2A4003F0XNK2 is a compact brushless servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki for the G SANMOTION AC Servo Motors series. Designed for automation equipment with limited installation space, the unit operates as the rotary actuator inside positioning stages, labeling heads, and light assembly robots. When paired with a compatible drive, it converts sinusoidal electrical excitation into precise shaft motion, allowing machine controllers to regulate velocity and torque without mechanical gear changes. Its compact format also makes it suitable for moving assemblies where motor size and weight can affect axis response.
The motor belongs to the 200 V class, so its three phases connect to a compatible mid-voltage servo amplifier. At a rated current of 0.65 Arms, the stator provides a continuous mechanical output of 30 W while the shaft operates at a rated speed of 3000 rpm. Under these conditions, the motor supplies 0.098 N·m of continuous torque, and its torque constant is 0.183 N·m/Arms. The built-in single-turn absolute encoder returns position data to the drive for commutation and closed-loop motion control. A phase resistance of 10.9 Ω limits current during startup and provides an electrical value for configuring the connected amplifier. These ratings support the selection of suitable protective fuses, conductors, and regenerative braking components for the axis.
The housing has an IP67 protection rating, sealing the bearings and connectors against dust and temporary water immersion. A maximum speed of 6500 rpm supports rapid indexing moves before the shaft returns to its normal production speed. The motor can produce a peak stall torque of 0.37 N·m during short-duration load surges. Mounting uses a 40 mm square flange, allowing the motor to attach to miniature linear stages without additional adapters. A rotor inertia of 0.0233 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m² supports quick acceleration and deceleration during repetitive positioning cycles. The motor has a mass of 0.25 kg, which reduces the added load when it is installed on a moving axis or at the end of a robotic arm.
