This unit supplies closed-loop rotary motion for compact automation axes such as semiconductor handlers and miniature pick-and-place modules. It integrates a single-turn absolute encoder so controllers can recover the position immediately after power is restored without performing a homing routine.
Under continuous duty, the motor delivers 0.03 kW of mechanical power while operating at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm. At that operating point, it produces a continuous torque of 0.098 N·m and draws 0.65 A RMS from the drive amplifier, allowing accurate load matching in low-inertia stages. The stator and winding insulation meet thermal class F requirements, so the unit tolerates winding temperatures up to 155 °C without premature aging. An enclosure rating of IP67 provides complete protection against dust and protection against temporary immersion, permitting direct mounting inside washdown tooling.
