Product Description:
The GAM2A4003F0CNK2 is an AC servo motor produced by Sanyo Denki for the G SANMOTION AC Servo Motors series. It is intended to drive light-duty rotary axes that require accurate position and speed control in compact assembly machines, semiconductor handlers, and laboratory equipment. When connected to a matching SANMOTION amplifier, the motor converts command currents into proportional shaft motion and returns feedback for closed-loop regulation.
During continuous operation, the motor delivers a rated mechanical output of 0.03 kW. The shaft turns at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm and produces a rated torque of 0.098 N·m, allowing precise control of small loads without requiring an oversized motor. The stator draws only 0.65 A rms under these conditions, minimizing heat generation and current demand within the drive cabinet. Torque increases in direct proportion to phase current, as indicated by the torque constant of 0.183 N·m/A rms; this coefficient supports current-loop tuning in the amplifier. A phase resistance of 10.9 Ω limits inrush when the windings are energized and contributes to predictable thermal behavior under cyclic duty.
The unit supports higher transient demands with a peak stall torque of 0.37 N·m when the drive supplies up to 2.3 A rms. Its maximum mechanical speed reaches 6500 rpm, extending the usable velocity range for rapid indexing moves. A fail-safe holding brake operates at 24 VDC ±10% and draws 0.26 A, securing vertical axes when power is removed. Continuous stall torque is 0.108 N·m, providing static holding capacity above the rated torque. Rotor inertia is 0.0303 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m², enabling fast acceleration with limited overshoot. Mounting dimensions include a 6 mm shaft diameter, an 8 mm key length, and an overall body length of 84 mm, simplifying installation in equipment with limited space.
