Product Description:
The GAM1A4005F0XRK2 is a miniature AC servo motor engineered by Sanyo Denki for the G SANMOTION AC Servo Motors series. Intended for precision axes in semiconductor tools, laboratory automation, and light pick-and-place mechanisms, the motor pairs with a compatible drive to provide tightly regulated position, velocity, and torque in compact spaces. Its electrical and mechanical characteristics suit installations that require low inertia, repeatable motion, and a small motor footprint.
With a 200 VAC supply, the unit delivers continuous mechanical power of 0.05 kW at a nominal shaft speed of 3000 rpm and produces a continuous torque of 0.159 N·m. Short load surges can be accommodated by a peak stall torque of 0.56 N·m before the control limits intervene. The torque constant is 0.244 N·m/Arms, so the controller must provide approximately 0.65 A to produce 0.16 N·m of torque. Rotor position is reported at a 23-bit resolution by a batteryless absolute encoder, eliminating maintenance associated with lithium cells. The IP67 enclosure rating protects the windings and bearings from dust and temporary water immersion. This protection permits installation outside a control cabinet when the motor is mounted and connected according to the applicable installation requirements.
Mechanical integration is supported by a square 40 mm flange that fits compact motor plates and gearheads. The frame weighs only 0.38 kg, reducing the payload placed on moving carriages and simplifying handling during installation. A stator phase resistance of 7.0 Ω limits steady-state current, while the rotor inertia of 0.0153 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m² supports rapid acceleration and deceleration profiles. The keyed output shaft provides positive engagement with compatible pulleys, pinions, and rigid couplings. It is supplied without an oil seal, which reduces shaft friction in clean, high-cycle indexing applications where additional sealing is not required.
