Product Description
GADSE02AH24 is a 100 Volts rated Sanyo Denki servo amplifier. It works only with single-phase input. Features available on the amplifier include a regenerative resistor, sinking/sourcing type general-purpose output, and safe torque off with delay circuit. The amplifier features an EtherCAT interface for fast real-time network connectivity. EtherCAT provides 100 Mbps connectivity over a fieldbus system and provides a short cycle time. EtherCAT is compatible with Ethernet, which allows building systems with different machines from multiple vendors. Sanmotion G amplifiers connected in tandem connect with each other over EtherCAT cables. The host controller also connects to the amplifiers over EtherCAT cables. Sanmotion G amplifiers are software configurable. The setup software can be downloaded from the manufacturer website, installed on a PC, and used to configure the amplifier for speed, position, and torque control.
Connectivity between the amplifier and PC with setup software takes place over a USB cable. Output capacity of the GADSE02AH24 amplifier is 20 Amps and the maximum motor output power is 400 Watts. The amplifier supports an absolute encoder input for motor feedback. Feedback is a critical component of control systems that require precise control. It allows controllers and servo amplifiers to accurate determine actual motor speed/position/torque, and to change their output – if required – to control motor parameters. Output current ratings of the GADSE02AH24 amplifier are 3.1 Amps continuous and 12 Amps peak. Output capacity of the power supply unit on the amplifier is 0.8 kVA. Specifications for the built-in resistor include 25 Ohms resistance and 5 Watts peak power draw. Digital operator on the amplifier provides status display and other diagnostic information. Weight and dimensions of the amplifier are 0.8 kilograms and 160 x 40 x 130 millimeters.
