Product Description
GADSA15AB22 is a Sanyo Denki servo amplifier. It belongs to the Sanmotion G product line. The amplifier is designed for use with rotary and linear servo motors. It supports motor feedback via support for absolute encoder input. An external noise filter can be used to filter interference present in the power input line. A circuit breaker can also be used on the input power line to prevent short circuits and overcurrent events. A regenerative resistor is built-in into the amplifier. Resistance of the resistor is 6 Ohms and its peak power consumption is 120 Watts. A PC connects to the amplifier via a USB cable for configuration. By using the setup software, operators can program the amplifier for speed control, position control, or torque control. The encoder cable from the motor connects to feedback interface on the front of the unit.
The servo motor power cable connects to designated connector on the front of the unit. Input voltage rating of the amplifier is 200 Volts AC (three-phase) and its output capacity is 150 Amps. It can deliver maximum 7 kilowatts to the connected motor. The continuous output current is 34 Amps and the maximum output current is 83 Amps. Another accessory available on the amplifier is a dynamic braking resistor. Safe Torque Off (STO) without delay circuit is also supported. Weight of the GADSA15AB22 amplifier is 4.2 kilograms. Its dimensions are 205 x 120 x 220 millimeters. A digital operator provides status display, adjustment mode, parameter settings, and code settings for the motor. An analog monitor provides velocity monitoring and monitoring for torque commands. The ideal operating temperature range for the GADSA15AB22 is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
