The Sanyo Denki GADSA01AA22 amplifier is designed with an IGBT-based control system and built-in resistor. The servo amplifier does not support multiple-axis systems as it has only 1 controllable axis. The amplifier features advanced control functions, including position, speed and torque control, which can be adjusted according to the system requirements. Each control mode performs a specific function. The position mode controls the position of the amplifier, the speed control maintains the constant velocity of the amplifier, and the torque control mode helps in the regulation of rotational force. This amplifier also features an IGBT control mode that operates with sinusoidal PWM.
The IGBT control features IGBT electronic switches. These switches control the input voltage, velocity and heat generation. Its sinusoidal PWM control generates voltage in the form of sinusoidal waves, reduces the chances of torque ripple and increases the efficiency. IGBTs are ideal for high-voltage and high-current applications. They are developed to support high-power applications while utilizing a low-power input. It features a single-phase power supply system and operates within an ambient temperature range. Its main circuit supports a single-phase power supply system with 200 VAC input voltage.
The amplifier has a current capacity of 10 A with a 50/60 Hz frequency. It features a general-purpose output of the sinking type. The output's ON state forms a closed electronic path to ground, which enables current to flow through the connected load. The sinking output configuration serves as an industrial standard for controlling external devices through relay indicators and alarms in PLCs and servo drives. Its built-in resistor improves the dissipation of excessive heat. It helps in the transformation of the kinetic energy into electrical energy to improve the performance of the amplifier.
