Internal Product Review
The GADSE02LB22 is a Sanyo Denki G Sanmotion AC servo amplifier designed for 100 VAC single-phase input. A 400 W max motor output paired with 12.0 Arms peak output gives this amplifier strong dynamic response for precise axis control. The 1:5000 velocity range makes this unit a very capable choice for fine speed regulation.

Product Description:
The GADSE02LB22 is a compact AC servo amplifier produced by Sanyo Denki and assigned to the G Sanmotion AC Servo Amplifiers series. The unit conditions single-phase mains power and delivers controlled current to matched Sanmotion servomotors, enabling precise speed and torque regulation in automated machinery such as pick-and-place heads, packaging axes, and indexing tables. By converting fixed-frequency input power into a high-bandwidth drive signal, it forms the link between a motion controller and the electromechanical load.
The amplifier has a maximum current capacity of 20 A, while its continuous current output is limited to 3.1 Arms so connected motors can run without thermal overload. Transient acceleration demands are supported by a peak output of 12.0 Arms. The input belongs to the 100 VAC voltage class and draws up to 0.8 kVA from a single-phase source. The amplifier uses an external regeneration resistor when excess kinetic energy must be dissipated. A velocity regulation range of 1:5000 allows very slow movement without sacrificing feedback resolution. Mechanical loads may have inertia up to ten times the rotor inertia, and motors with shaft ratings up to 400 W fall within the drive’s supported power range. A minimum external dynamic braking resistance of 17 Ω protects the power stage from overvoltage.
The enclosure has a width of 40 mm, a depth of 130 mm, and a height of 160 mm, allowing side-by-side mounting on a DIN rail inside narrow control cabinets. Its mass of 0.80 kg eases installation on hinged doors and reduces vibration loading. All general-purpose outputs are sourcing type, simplifying connections to sensors and other devices that use positive-logic signals. The narrow housing also leaves more rail space available for neighboring amplifiers, power supplies, and control modules in multi-axis systems.
