The GADSE02AB22 is an AC servo amplifier produced by Sanyo Denki for the G Sanmotion AC Servo Amplifiers series. It converts a regulated DC supply into sinusoidally modulated output currents. These currents allow a matched servomotor to execute precise speed and position profiles in automated production equipment.
The power stage accepts a DC bus rated at 150 VDC and is built around an IGBT-based sinusoidal PWM control system that limits switching losses while maintaining low torque ripple. Amplifier capacity reaches 20 A, yet during continuous operation, the output is held to 3.1 Arms so that thermal limits are observed. For short accelerations, the current can rise to 12.0 Arms, providing extra torque without exceeding device ratings. The internal supply must deliver up to 0.8 kVA, and line draw on the DC source is characterized by a main input current of 3.9 Arms. When coupled with a compatible Sanyo Denki G-series motor, the amplifier can deliver mechanical power up to 400 W, matching small axes such as index tables or pick heads. Overvoltage Category III insulation distances are followed so the unit may be wired in fixed industrial installations fed from building distribution panels.
A built-in regenerative circuit directs excess bus energy into a resistor rated at 20 W with a resistance of 17 Ω, so braking events do not raise the DC link above safe limits or require an external sink. Command data reach the amplifier through an analog or pulse interface, and machine controllers can actuate two sourcing-type GPO signals for actuator interlocks or status lamps. Safe torque off is provided without a delay circuit to ensure immediate removal of gate drive when the enable line opens. The enclosure has a mass of 0.80 kg, which eases panel mounting and allows high-density layouts alongside other G Sanmotion modules.
