The GADSA07AB22 servo amplifier is produced by Sanyo Denki within the G SANMOTION AC Servo Amplifiers series. Designed for machine tools, packaging lines, and other automated equipment, the unit provides an interface between a motion controller and a three-phase servo motor. It converts command signals into regulated current, voltage, and switching patterns that govern rotor position, speed, and torque.
Beneath its aluminum housing, the drive stage is rated for an instantaneous switching current of 75 A, providing the IGBT bridge with headroom during dynamic load changes. It accepts a three-phase 200 to 240 VAC supply and draws a nominal current of 18.5 A RMS, so cabinet wiring must accommodate the resulting thermal load. During steady operation, the motor windings receive a continuous current of 18.0 A RMS. Short acceleration cycles can be supported by a peak current of 45.5 A RMS without triggering overcurrent protection.
