Product Description:
GADSA05LA22 is a Sanyo Denki servo amplifier. It is part of the Sanmotion G product line. The amplifier is used to control the speed, position, and torque of a connected servo motor. The amplifier achieves motor control by varying its output voltage and frequency. Output capacity of the amplifier is 50 Amps and it can deliver maximum 2.5 kilowatts power to the connected motor. The GADSA05LA22 supports safe torque off (STO), a safety feature used in industrial automation systems to ensure that a machine or system is stopped safely before maintenance or inspection. STO disables the ability of a drive or motor to produce torque by cutting off the power to the motor's drive circuit or stopping the signal to the motor. The STO feature on the amplifier does not include a delay circuit.
The GADSA05LA22 amplifier requires an external regenerative resistor with minimum 17 Ohms resistance. Its interface type is analog/pulse input. Value of continuous output current is 12 Amps and the value of peak output current is 26.5 Amps. Sanyo has designed the device to work with single-phase or three-phase AC input. For three-phase input the amplifier supports voltages ranging from 200 to 240 Volts AC. For single-phase input the amplifier supports voltages ranging from 200 to 240 Volts AC and 100 to 120 Volts AC. Power supply capacity of the main power supply on the unit is 3.8 kVA. Operation with rated values requires air temperatures between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius and altitudes below 2000 meters. A digital operator provides status display, motor code setting, alarm log, and other features. Dynamic brake and regenerative circuits are built-in into the amplifier.
