GADSA03LA22 is a Sanyo Denki Sanmotion G series servo amplifier. The G series includes analog/pulse type and EtherCAT amplifiers. GADSA03LA22 is an analog/pulse type amplifier. Compared to conventional products, G series amplifiers are 5% lighter due to their superior thermal design and smaller components. The power loss of these amplifiers has been reduced by 26% due to use of high-tech power devices. Power loss of the control circuit has been reduced by 16% due to use of LSI circuits. Applications of G series amplifiers and motors include overhead conveyors, CMP equipment, CT scanners and filling machines. GADSA03LA22 amplifier belongs to the 200 Volts AC class. It can work with supply voltages of up to 240 Volts. The amplifier supports single-phase and three-phase AC input. Output capacity of the unit is 30 Amps.
The amplifier requires an external regenerative resistor. It supports safe torque off (STO) without a delay circuit. Maximum motor output delivered by the amplifier is 1.5 kilowatts. The continuous output current is 5.2 Aps and the peak output current is 16.3 Amps. Via configuration, the amplifier can be set up to support speed, torque or position control. The control system on the device is IGBT-based PWM control. Input current for 3-phase supply is 6.9 Amps for 1-phase input is 7 Amps. The power supply capacity of the main circuit power supply is 2.4 kVA. Input current for the control circuit power supply is 0.5 Amps. For operation Sanyo recommends 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and for storage Sanyo recommends -20 to 65 degrees Celsius. The amplifier includes an integrated tray-type power supply. The ambient relative humidity should not exceed 95% during operation or storage.
