The GADSA01AB22 is a compact AC servo amplifier produced by Sanyo Denki for the G Sanmotion AC Servo Amplifiers series. It converts command signals from a motion controller into controlled current and voltage for a matched servo motor, allowing precise velocity and position control in packaging lines, pick-and-place stages, and small conveyors. By integrating the drive and regenerative circuitry in one housing, the unit simplifies cabinet layouts and provides the amplification required for low-power industrial automation.
The amplifier has a maximum instantaneous line current capacity of 10 A, while its continuous output remains at 1.2 Arms for thermal stability during normal duty cycles. For axes rated up to 200 W, the power section can deliver enough energy to accelerate light rotary or linear loads, while the overall power supply demand is only 0.4 kVA. Regenerative energy is handled internally by a built-in resistor rated at 5 W and 25 Ω.
