The SCE906A2-002-01 is a servo drive optimally produced by Rexroth. This servo drive is able to maintain a high performance at medium power. This drive, along with other units within the series, is commonly paired with 3-phase permanent magnet motors. These permanent magnet motors are typically brushless in design and contain resolves. Additionally, the interface of the SCE906A2-002-01 servo drive is similar to the control interface of the SC900 series. With that being said, the power electronics of this particular drive are newly compatible with U.S. 480 VAC lines along with European 400 VAC 3-phase mains.
These new additions are in compliance with CE standards. Moreover, this drive unit possesses a myriad of practical features that are both standards among servo drives or are unique to this particular series. Such standard components of the SCE906A2-002-01 consists of a completely encapsulated panel mounting packaging as well as an integral power supply. A single resolver that is capable of holding up in harsh conditions is also standard with this servo drive. Other standard features include extensive protection circuits as well as the unit’s use of diagnostics during operation.
The SCE906A2-002-01 also possesses several features that are unique to this series. The servo drive has an all-digital DSP-based control that supports current loops. Further, digital auto-tuning is installed within the drive in order for the user to set-up the device quickly and easily. The parameters of the servo drive are pre-installed in the unit’s software and the servo driver features an advanced, patented Digital Resolver to Digital (DRDC) converter. The converter is capable of a holding a standard 5.3 arc minute and also supports a 24-bit resolution.
