This range of economical, high-performance, medium-power and single-axis servo drives are designed to be paired with the resolver equipped, brushless three-phase permanent magnet motors also manufactured by Pacific Scientific.
Focusing mainly on medium to large OEM applications, the SC900 series of servo drives is extremely diverse and can also be used in simple end-user applications. While the SC900 series is equipped for industrial standard operations, it also includes impressive features such as the all-digital DSP based control which even applies to current loops, software-based system and application parameters and digital auto-tuning for simple set-up. These features make the SC900 series of servo drives increasingly intelligent and fit for the future.
Pacific Scientific’s SCE902-001-01 drive is part of the SCE900 series of economical yet powerful servo drives. Since the SCE902-001-01 is a simpler unit from the series, it has no option card or communication interface installed from the factory. However, additional modules could be added to the servo drive in order to make it suitable for more complex applications. Pacific Scientific’s SCE902-001-01 servo drive has a power level of 3.76 A which is continuously set at 25 degrees C and has a peak of 7.5 A. With factory assigned accessories and cooling method, the SCE902-001-01 by Pacific Scientific only has standard unit customization. The SCE902-001-01 servo drive is equipped with standard firmware to keep the connected motor running and has a factory assigned input voltage.
