The SC933AN-050-01 is a servo drive produced by Pacific Scientific as part of the SC900 Servo Drives series. It is installed between a motion controller and a three-phase brushless servomotor to regulate torque, speed, and position in automated machinery. By converting low-power command data into regulated motor currents, the unit provides closed-loop control that keeps axes synchronized during assembly, packaging, and material-handling tasks. During steady operation at 25 °C with natural convection, the drive delivers a continuous output current of 7.5 A, which is the maximum motor phase current it can supply continuously without thermal derating. Under the same conditions and with a 240 V three-phase supply, it supports a continuous output power of 2.2 kW, representing the electrical power available to the motor during sustained operation. The power stage operates at 96% efficiency, so only a small portion of the incoming energy is dissipated as heat inside the enclosure. For acceleration and other transient events, the current can rise to a peak of 15.0 A, and short-term mechanical power can reach 4.5 kW. These operating limits help the drive handle brief demand increases while maintaining controlled motor performance.
