Product Description:

The 46878701 is a rugged drive. It is created to offer heavy-duty rugged performance with a 30A continuous output current at 25°C. It offers an aggregate maximum output current of 60A for heavy-duty applications. The control voltage input is between 120 and 240 VAC. It offers a continuous power output of the drive as 9 kW at 240 VAC. The product features an internal fan that operates at 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. This is sufficient cooling for extended operation. It accommodates regeneration interface motor configurations.

The drive has an 8 Ohm, 375W rib resistance shunt regulator. Maximum absorption of the shunt regulator is at 20 kW. The bus capacitor accommodates up to 50 joules of energy dissipation for dissipation. Resolver signal inputs provide 75 V/usec support with 25 kOhm differential input impedance. Voltage excitation is regulated at 9.2 Vrms at 6510.42 Hz. Overheat protection with fault trigger at greater than 6.2k Ohm is provided in the drive. RS232/485 and PacLAN communication protocols for system integration are provided. Frequency of output current ripple to up to 20 kHz is supported. Signal and control response clarity is provided by the drive. It is supported to be 50 meters (164 feet) long. This is made possible by the provision of free installation on configurations.

Ripple control and the in-built fan support increased heat dissipation. The system has been configured to operate high-efficiency motors. It is protected from voltage spikes internally in its circuitry. Its control signals are not destabilized even when longer cables are used. The device is most suitable where constant torque and speed are needed. It is very tolerant of advanced feedback and control systems. Ventilation and protection are needed for long-term use.
