Product Description:
The 440-129 drive type is for variable cooling conditions and steady state. Under convection cooling, it runs continuously at full Ipeak/2 rating, derating as (T-25°C)/75°C up to 60°C. Under forced air, the derate is changed to (T-50°C)/30°C up to 60°C, and in any condition thermal protection is provided. Input voltage range of this model is 180 to 264 VAC. Its bus voltage is nominally rated at 320 VDC. Control input power will be 90 to 264 VAC at 47-440 Hz single phase or 130 to 370 VDC, using only 15-30 watts. This unit can handle a maximum motor inductance of 0.5 H. Also, it can go down to 0.5 mH, supporting a variety of motor types.
Resolver signal resolution of the unit is as high as 24 bits per revolution. It also provides emulated encoder outputs in binary resolutions up to 16,384 PPR and decimal resolutions up to 16,000 PPR. This provides simple interfacing with a broad variety of feedback systems. The drive has a humidity rating of conditions from 10% to 90%, which provides flexibility to various environments. This drive can resist AC line surges of up to 500 kVA, shielding internal circuitry from power surges. The maximum cable length in this drive is 50 meters (164 feet). It allows remote mounting without signal loss. The 440-129 is suitable for applications that need precision, flexible power performance, and rugged environmental capabilities.
Having derating on adjustable cooling and broad input ranges enables this drive to provide stable operation in demanding functions. Feedback signal support is broad. It ranges from high-resolution resolver information to emulated encoder type. This drive functions best while adapting to a number of power situations and feedback processes.
